Technically, they are far superior to a manual, just as new electric keyboards are “superior” to Steinways. The manual transmision is a barbaric device compared to modern automatic transmissions. But some of us do not care for sophistication in driving and truly adore the experience of shifting our own gears, because

Prescott here too! That jet dragster was badass, more recently though. And the rocket projects are obviously pretty damn cool.

So, a manufacturer, any manufacturer, is confident enough in their product to warranty cars ran hard by any person of any level of experience, possibly for extended periods, and your reaction as an enthusiast is to throw an insult out?

I don’t think Santa can give you a Sabine.

False

They got rid of the grille, great, that makes sense, but they kept this sort of outline of where a grille would go. It would’ve looked a whole lot better had they not included that edge that cut across the front and arcs down on both sides. It just looks like someone stretched a piece of silk across a Focus ST’s

Don’t be the guy that puts projector bulbs in a reflector setup.

If an engineering failure (or success) doesn’t result in the deaths of thousands, it ain’t hardcore engineering :)

“The Chevy Bolt’s like a Compaq, this is a Macbook. That’s the difference.”

“You ask why not a BMW, Mercedes? We want a technology company that builds a car, not a car company that tries to build technology.”

Or that put them in non-projector housings. If you look at the light of a projector style housing its sharply cut-off, so you arent just pissing light all over the place. But those cheap ass, usually frosted from wear, housings just scatter light everywhere and kind of focus a beam down the road. No aiming will solve

And it looks like youre a prick. Putting HIDs in those old parabolic lenses that do jack to control the light means you are blinding everyone else and telling the whole world what a cheap-ass you are.

That doesn't help the situation because now you're throwing glare all over the place. It honestly makes it worse because the headlights weren't designed to be used with HID bulbs. Now if you replaced the headlights with the HID housings then that's the right way, or an HID retrofit with proper HID projectors

Maybe this has something to do with the idiotic laws governing new headlight technology in America.

Right...

Id honestly love to meet Lord March, all that money and his idea for a good time is to put these old beasts in their natural enviornment for all to watch.

utter car guy through and through

If you have family, you probably need the hatch version, which no longer exists. Where I live, in the mountains, the types of activities we do require a hatch. Keeping gear warm in the winter is essential, and you can’t do that with a trunk if there are people in the rear seats.

As someone who had a first gen CTS-V and E36 M3 Sedan at the same time, as long as you have back seats big enough for adults who cares? We crisscrossed the country in the V, and never had a problem. Until kid #4 showed up. That definitely required a bump up.

Wrong, respectfully.

Spacious?
