You can just tell how much joy there was in writing and making Knives Out. I’m so glad these movies exist.

So, someone gets mistreated and you just let her go and move on with the mistreat-er? How dat work
The fact that they renamed the entire fucking company after this completely made up concept is HILARIOUS. I so enjoy watching Facebook fail.
This sounds like a terrible idea--I don’t want anything made around the events of LotR. Rings of Power isn’t perfect, but it gets the feel of Tolkien’s world. It’s laid a solid foundation and I’m excited to see where it goes.
I know some people have come around to Jost and Che, and Jost at least knows he’s punchable and plays into it ... but they are just the most boring Weekend Update hosts ever. Yes, they’ve gotten better, but they have a while to go before they hit even Colin Quinn levels of “not bad.” (I don’t hate Colin Quinn but in…
I know some people like Beyond ... but I am not one of them. This series got worse with every installment. Let it die.
I’m typically unbothered by lore changes, but the Mithril thing and tying it to the elves losing their “light” is a bit meh. It just seems unnecessary. The sadness of the elves in Middle Earth—being torn between going “home” and their love of Middle Earth--is a huge part of their lore and really the whole feel of…
Yeah, I’m someone who really doesn’t give a shit about graphics nor mind a 30 fps game, as long as it runs like that steadily, but that’s just horseshit. You can ABSOLUTELY tell the difference.
As much as I hate most anything Kevin Smith touches post-90s, I did have a great time with Clerks 2. As a sequel to Clerks, it’s mostly a disaster, but I laughed a lot.
Look, there were some serious crimes committed by and with Santana in the 90s/early 00s ... Game of Love really wasn’t one. It’s a solid pop song.
WB, you can afford to just refilm all his scenes with someone else and fix it all with CG in post. Fucking do it. If the movie is that good it can afford another $15m-$20m in reshoots/CGI work and still turn a profit.
Look, I want Miller out as much as the next guy, but I see this comment often and just ... no. Gustin is fine in a show that was at one point a decent watch, but he’s nothing like the Flash from the DC movies (or the comics for that matter). It’s mostly the CW melodrama holding him back, but it just wouldn’t work.
The Jon Voight line had me CACKLING. I love this guy, holy crap. What a great interview.
Seriously, so many people online making jokes about Marvel turning everyone into a mutant and waahhh the inhumans. You never cared about the inhumans and you still don’t--just like everyone else.
One of the few complaints I’ve seen about S4 is the Joyce/Murray plot ... and I get that it’s out there and silly, but god it’s so entertaining and they are such an odd but delightful pairing that I just love every second of it.
It’s sad because that final stretch under the ocean is some of the cooolest Zelda stuff ever. The drowned Hyrule, the fight with Ganondorf, it’s all so cool. But the fetch quest really does kill the momentum.
I was one of those whining all over internet forums back in the day about the new look. I didn’t mind it, but this macho culture settled over video games in the late 90s and early 00s—I remember my cousins and friends thinking I was stupid for liking Nintendo or even owning a Gamecube, and WW was the perfect example…
Holy shit, her rap had me CACKLING
It’s just a phrase, calm down. He’s not going to be replaced and, due to the things you yourself pointed out, he really doesn’t need anyone to defend him and his place in comics.
It all comes down to his face. I have to hand it to Foley--his face drops into such utter despair whenever the song is on and he’s just staring off. It lends the thing a whole other level that is so depressing and also so perfectly Kids in the Hall.
