Imo the key to getting through a reading list, is to cut more technology out of the picture. With an audio book, e.g. one on cd, there's nothing much to distract (unless the narrator sucks), no pop-up notifications to take you away, no alarms to respond to. Seriously, I've gone through so many books this last year by just going to the library and getting audiobooks, listening on my commutes. I've gone through more books in 12 months than I have in the last 5 years.

Use Goodreads.com! It was the best way to keep track of my reading for my college courses. Especially when I had to read about one book per week. Now I know what I've read, can keep track of what I'm currently reading and create lists for future books I want to read. Plus the reviews are good too.

Why not use Goodreads? It has a pretty good "list" system (they call "shelves"), and it has three by default: Currently Reading, Want to Read, and Read. You find the book you want to read, and it to your to-read shelf. When you're reading, you can keep track of your progress, add notes. And when you're done you can
