It really has been great. My favorite part was just walking around - I'm staying around 18th street and just got back from walking to 66th and back. Passing all the interesting sites along the way was just fantastic.

So, for the zero people who care - my Day 2 NYC food extravaganza included breakfast at my hotel, lunch at Num Pang, another pizza from Grimaldi's, and the huge pastrami sandwich that I am about to go get from the deli next door. Tomorrow I'll try the French bistro Steeplechase recommended, then off to Philly.

Every Saturday. Seriously, it is the highlight of my week, even if we normally just go to the coffee place down the road for 30 minutes until the baby we bring with us (older kids stay home) starts screaming. Just talking for a bit helps us remember why we made this indefensible decision to settle down with one person…
