The reason most of their turbo engines end up needing rebuilding is because “enthusiasts” do questionable upgrades and end up blowing them.

And you will do great if you end up with a Sienna. Minivans are way ahead of SUVs when it comes to practicality and livability. And Toyota makes one of the most reliable if not THE MOST reliable minivan out there.
2019 4runner appears to have the exact same drivetrain. Well beyond average reliability.
I mean I hope so, I’m just not a big fan of economy turbos for several reasons. They don’t seem to last as long as a traditional port injected N/A engine. The fuel economy benefits sometimes are medicore at best (Ford Ecoboost).
