Let me just answer for a whole lot of people over the last ten years; an air cooled Porsche.

A bunch of breakable things? This thing is designed to have things not break for 25 years unless you purposefully try to break things.

The most interesting thing I can see done to this thing is dumping a SBC in there....so considering you can find many examples of this thing at less than $8k....this isn’t even a crack pipe. It’s jumping straight into a 10 day heroin bender.

This is without a doubt the biggest crack pipe I’ve ever seen on here.

Would rather pay this much for this vehicle than $100k for the new Lincoln Mall Navigator just because it has 120-way adjustable seats.

Two armored lc200’s in the back with 150k plus and an armored sequoia up front with about 50k so far. The armored cruisers have been vastly more reliable than my gf’s Range Rover. They’re worth every penny.

I firmly believe the Land Cruiser is the best-built vehicle on sale. Rather than use things that look nice, and feel good to touch, it’s made of stuff that’s made to last decades. This is why it costs so much, and this is why it continues to have such a strong following as a vehicle.

The suspensions are different: the LX has a suspension with adjustable ride height and smoother ride. The LC suspension is coil spring based, so presumably tougher, no adjustable ride height, but has a system called KDSS that hydraulically disconnects stabilizer bar for better wheel articulation off road.

Swap those tires for KO2s and you’ll have a much much better time off road. Shameless self plug (yes, I’ve used this before, but dang it’s my favorite):

SUV. Non luxury does not matter here. It is plenty luxurious, can be passed down to children and grand children after them, and can cross just about anything off the showroom floor.
