You made a mistake: “If you don’t pay for Xbox Live Gold, you still get access to video streaming apps like Netflix and Hulu, live TV features, and Skype.” This is not true If you don’t have Xbox Live Gold, it won’t let you use Netflix or Hula, this is the reason I ditched my Xbox 6 months ago.
