that is the best cereal ever. I go months between buying cereals waiting for that one to go on sale.

where are the freaking error bars? this whole comparison is an n of 2? Gee-whiz. I'm totally impressed. Why can't they go back and look at stats for 1999-2003 and see if there was the same bias then? Look at things one season at a time to see if there was a trend or a sudden change or that it's highly noisy?

basically, I think I'm with dtodd's interpretation.

Any chance the data is "easy" to bin based on winning season (>.600 before deadline), losing season (<.400), break even season (and even better - pair with their partners...e.g. a win-lose vs win-even vs win-win trade)? Seeing Milwaukee at the top of the all time list for a player trade but on the winning side of

For those charts, I think the left "key" lies and is basically backwards. For the bottom two charts red=goal, white=miss/save (but what is the difference between "on net" and "on ice"? is "on ice" where he skates to and shoots FROM?). The top chart is simply attempts, where red=cluster of attempts and white=avoid

naked skating....imagine the damage if you crashed and got sliced by another crasher's skate. That'd be....fun....yeah

A handgun? That'd be an appropriate gambling purchase. He could play roulette all day long. Or at least until he couldn't.

At one job I gave an "80 hour notice" for my full time salaried (40 hr/wk) job, then documented my hours, including all break times. My last day was 6 days later.

So they would have more free time to commit these and other crimes?

oh, I'm sure the farmer makes less money than the supermarket and the car salesman makes more than the factory worker.

Right, but as they broadcast over-the-air in my area, shouldn't specifying my local NBC station be just as good as having a cable provider account for logging into their website? They can still generate revenue by showing commercials during the commercial break (either locally-targetted ads or national ads).

Either he's got some ups or those are some short white dudes.

Incognito's Dad made that same "he was suicidal" accusation at Martin when this first broke. How the Incognito men think berating a guy who was thinking of killing himself makes them more manly, I'll never know.

"go back to ———"

um..... 99% of these percentages made up, or how were you less accurate than Reuben?

or very excited to see you

they'll probably own the land in LA so they can sell it to the city. the city will then lease it back to the team at low cost. Or the 60 acres is a parking lot adjacent to the stadium which will be on publicly purchased (eminent domain) land.

Was he (or his father, et al) an owner of the Rams when they moved out of LA to St. Louis to begin with?

(very) minor quibble with the visual presentation: With the first graph/chart, I'd put the US open and the Aussie open next to each other, as both are hard court surfaces. So, I'd like to see how much of a player's dominance comes from this surface. We all know Nadal is king of the clay, whereas Sampras was inept.

Saw something like this on PBS a few years ago. I think they used red-tailed hawks though.
