I remember I never signed up for Spotify because of that. I'll have to check it out now.

Here is a philosophical question for you. I have no real agenda but your comment made me wonder.

I don't understand why they are all going wider. The iPhone is already kind stretched out. If they made it thicker and covered the bezel on the top and bottom of the screen with the controls on top that would be ideal.

No dimmer is also my reason for waiting.

If you want a game console that does a lot of cool-but-unproven non-gaming stuff, get an Xbox One. The Xbox One is something different. It's the most ambitious gaming console ever released, mostly because it wants to be so much more than just a gaming console. If you watch a lot of movies and streaming TV, and want

No livingroom box should charge extra for netflix

That isn't how capitalism works. It's supply and demand. When no one had had any way of watching Netflix on the TV they got away with including it in their premium package. But the supply has risen and they refuse to correct for it. Complaining about it and not buying it until they correct to the market average is the

I generally avoid companies that go out of their way screw any demographic of their user-base. Today maybe you're not in the demo that gets screwed but tommorow?

When making any purchase you should divide the cost over the lifetime of the product. Unless you are living hand to mouth 500 upfront vs 500 across the lifetime of the product is the same. Xbox is still double the cost of PS4 if you want streaming but not Online multiplayer.

Kinect and live Cable? Those aren't really anything to write home about (Cable will be cool if they add DVR but until then it is pointless).

You can't pay for the console til it is 100$ but 60$ a year is nothing?

But all of the streaming services and apps are not behind that paywall.

You already pay for the data plan, it is called your internet bill.

Also Fuck XBox Live for streaming services

You would be cool with paying for XBox live to use those media features?

I am not a fanboy trying to take down XBox at all costs. I am a potential customer that likes a great deal of the things that XBox is doing. I want to buy an XBox One alot. I occasionally voice my frustration because I will buy a PS4 this generation but it will not be because of the very impressive things that Sony

Unless someone smashed theirs I don't image a huge market for the things and if everyone has them eventually many of the games will me unplayable without interactions with it.

Phone is muffled in my pocket most of the time and my laptop isn't with me all the time. But it is just uncomfortable for me to try to relax while a camera is always watching me and a microphone is listening to everything I say. Even more annoying is paying someone 100$ for the privilege.

If the Xbox was at the same price as the PS4 then people wouldn't complain. People can knock an unnecessary mandatory luxury feature all day long.

It is really simple According to the App Annie Market Index, Q2 2013 metrics show Apple’s App Store still beat Google Play in revenue: the App Store pulled in 2.3 times as much revenue as Google Play. (Source http://goo.gl/XdL0Zw)
