Risk that you control means both time and a very small sample size. I am fallible but if the stock market totally crashes for 30 years. I will have bigger worries, like who to rob for their gasoline.
When you enter a system do you imagine yourself as the average user or an exception?
People generally think they have it under control long past the point of no return. As obvious as it seems to those on the outside, if you're in it you can believe you're objectively doing alright. It is just how the brain is wired.
Merchant fees are another word for interchange.
Credit card companies are not free money machines. The risk is what you give them in return for the loan. They make money because people think that they will be smart, until they are wrong. All the money for that cash back comes from people that were either in hard times or thought they were being smart but got over…
Basically you need to assign a value on annoyance/risk/temptation and rewards/cashback/temporary emergency plan.

I would pay money to never use a credit card again. My debit card has me fully covered for 2 business days in case of fraud and sends alerts to my phone every time it is used.
Oh :(
What better spreadsheet application is there? Don't leave us hanging!
I would just be happy if you could detonate a sticky bomb on a car from a mile away without the cops omnisciently knowing my guilt and location.
I actually disagree. I think that a lot of kids 18-29 spend way too little money and waste a lot of time. If you can safely assume that you are going to be have at least moderately successful career then you will never be as poor as you will be right then.
Let me buy an Xbox without a Kinect and streaming services available in silver then they will have made a sale with me. But that is never gonna happen.
I have the problem that Android phones used to be so terrible that I associated that design style with "cheap phone". It is entirely in my head because alot of the new phones are great but I want to throw it out the window anytime I have to use one for longer than ten min.
Thank you!
I know but it is makes no sense and it annoys me to no end.
Can you also get them to take Netflix out from behind the paywall for nonmultiplayer gamers?
I know! This wasn't an all or nothing situation.
Perhaps, but the Xbox can keep time.
