My Onkyo has 3 zones available. So far, I've only used zone 1 (main) and zone 2 which is powering a set of speakers in my kitchen. Currently, someone can be in the living room watching a movie in 5.1 and someone else can be in the kitchen listening to music or whatever and controlling it all with apps.

I love Airplay and use it daily. I have multiple zones set up through my home theater receiver (Onkyo) and using the receivers app on my iPhone and whatever music streaming service on my phone, I can beam what I want to where I want it whenever. I use an Airport Express as the Airplay receiver which is connected to

Exactly. I think he should have become a high school football coach instead of the face of a major tech company.

I just can't watch or listen to Ballmer. As "the face" of a huge company, it's really an unfortunate deterrent to me.

This week I ran across the demo tape from my first band 20 years ago. What a blast from the past in all of its tape hiss, static, noise, lack of dynamics self.

I'm sensing a MS branded tablet fire sale in 8-14 months from now.

"Hellatoed"

Maybe even at 11, his sperm was ripe and potent. Skinny jeans hadn't been invented yet to heat up and squash those little guys. ;P

Remember Sammy Jenkis!

I go through the same thing with a nearby town called Sodus. It is pronounced SO-dus with a long O like in soda. Siri insists on pronouncing it SO-dus with a short O like the word sod. I ask: "What is the weather in Sodus New York for tonight?" Siri says NO. :(

HAHA, yes, or a paper map.

Yeah, my problem is that I go up to Toronto (from NY) a couple times a year for concerts and I don't want to be charged insane amounts of $ to be "online" once I cross the border. I switch off cellular data and switch to airplane mode when I hit customs. It would be nice to be able to use GPS without cellular data

Is there any word on whether or not you will be able to use maps offline? I wish the built in GPS component could actually be put to use without being connected to the internet.

It could cost $20 and I still wouldn't buy one.

I'm thinking you could install a raging inferno of death underneath every surface that a cockroach could possibly "swing" onto once they've lept off the edge of the top side of the object at full speed.

I totally agree with you. Many accessories will have to be updated and the use of adapters will become pretty common for a while but in the end, the smaller connector will be better; less dust, fragility, water risk, etc.

I hope they do stick it on the bottom so that when I have it in the holster in my car and plugged in to the stereo, all cords will hang from the bottom.

I was never a fan of the "tear drop" shape that was rumored last year. It seems like it would leave such a small edge to hold onto like and iPod Touch. I like the more squared designs just so there's a flat edge to hang onto.
