I started looking into these today until I saw the really poor child seat scores from Cars dot com. Apparently a rear facing infant seat will not give a 5'6 front passenger any room. That’s a deal breaker for me.  It’s really hard to find a car that isn’t an SUV and can fit rear facing child seats :(

$4500 is what I was thinking too.  But yeah, something like this pre-covid was $3k.  Sad.

I’d rather be on the sidewalk than hit by a car.  Never seen or heard of anyone being cited for biking on the sidewalk in the suburbs.  In the city?  I’d avoid biking altogether. Glad you’re comfortable putting your life in the hands of other drivers, but I’m not.

The current state of solar panel technology makes the return on investment too long for most businesses to consider.  It’s getting better, but it can take decades to pay for itself.
