it’s time to move on. if there were interest, it would have translated into sales. if they sold them, they would keep doing so. if the answer was, yes, they wouldn’t have said no.

This is the future, at least for the Western half of the US.
The claim that it’s entirely about entitlement is unfair. I do think that many millennials gravitate to a more ‘non-committal’ approach to owning/renting big items like cars and real estate, but that’s because of legitimate economic and cultural reasons that aren’t just “I want an Oompa-Loompa now Daddy!”.
Or 1/4 of a mother-in-law.
