All those people digging dents really need to be more accurate.

Also haven’t watched American Gods so I can’t comment on the “essentialness” of the scenes to the plot but agree that most if not all of the other shows I have seen the sex is a distraction not a furtherance (also don’t watch GoT).

I bought my ticket. now I’m done.

Yep, I just do not buy the (apparently) central premise of the movie. BILLIONS of people already think the afterlife is a certainty. Couple that with the fact that the movie seems to not actually say anything about the nature of the afterlife (at least as far as those billions know) and I fail to see why anything

This is one time where it’s very noticeable to me. I’ll have to look out in future

Did she say it that slow on the show? Man, with the head tilt she looks like an android winding down.

“There’s a critical concept with the Marvel Netflix shows often referred to as “the wall”—the moment where, about two-thirds of the way through their season, they slam the brakes on the pacing and stakes and preamble for a bit, mostly before pulling it together in the finale.”

Poor dear?
With that attitude I think those “friends” couldn’t wait for him to leave either.

I assumed that was Ghost Rider

I guess showing that there will not be a presidential nominee so crazy that most republicans won’t fall into line.
So much for that small hope

too late

I don’t get why it would cause a rash of suicides either... People already think there is an afterlife. They carry on anyway.

This is it essentially. WE have The ability to video call and talk to people face to face when ever we want. People prefer to use text.

For Meta Points they could have a Chris Pratt guest spot guest spot

I didn’t like Arrival. Didn’t like Story of your Life either - was hoping the movie would have more point to it. It did not.
Love most of Ted’s other stuff that I’ve read.
Haven’t watched any Transformers since the second one.

A sneak up genius line, the more I run it through my head the funnier it gets

Fair enough, I still really like him.

Pithy but incorrect, as he’s also in the “More interesting supporting characters” bit too. So he went from interesting to not so much for Ms Trendacosta.

What’s wrong with Coulson?

a Question for those who’ve read the story and seen the movie, how close is one to the other?
