Maybe to you, but It hasn't been "dead" It has just suffered a lot at the gigantic change in the market for video games in the last decade. As has most Japanese gaming. I know what you mean though, it's been hard to be a fan lately.

Agreed, I recently played through it for the first time and thought how much better the story would've turned out if that never happened.

Those corners where the walls meet must've been rough to fuse together (unless super glue). On a side note these beads are pretty expensive when you want to make cool stuff like this.
