Just for posterity. That's why I said a museum for instance. Not from a business perspective or any re-release. It's just something I think should be preserved by a game company because they should be proud of it. That's just my opinion though, I'm sure it takes a big effort to keep all of that under control for so

I don't understand how you can be a big company like SE and lose assets from some of your biggest classics. That shit should be in a museum.

If they still had the original renders that weren't down scaled for ps1 it would be possible right?

Not one of the Souls games has been bad at all so I'd say it's pretty safe to assume it won't fall to pieces.

Any idea when we'll be able to see some gameplay?

They are pretty different too so people should recognize the distinction. However, if you've just played the Dark Souls games then you'll still feel at home based on how this preview is detailed.

I think that'd be hard to tell. There's probably a good mix of both. Either way I wouldn't worry since he's in charge. The other devs are just doing what they're told ultimately.

This is the only game so far that because it's an exclusive I'm getting a ps4 for it. I've been waiting for the one exclusive to get me to make the decision and I would've never expected it to be from my favorite series.

To put it bluntly, I think most people are just seeing the things that they want to see at this point.

DLC for Dark Souls 1 was DLC done right. Any new fans here possibly worried at all shouldn't have anything to fear.

It'd be better than a Halo movie that's for sure.

It basically looks like how you'd see someone show off their level in a design reel. It'd be nice to see all the brush work, but for regular people it's not very interesting.

Good ol' Hammer editor. I really like how they used the Source engine for this game.

This was linked in one of the linked articles. It's a quick video detailing the problems around it.

Nah man it's not about the graphic power it's about the art direction. I don't think Zelda would ever get this dark and gritty just based on principle. Not saying it wouldn't be awesome to see though.

This game seems to be more and more comparable to a GOOD Silent Hill which I can't get enough of. Also, that sunflower scene.

After reading the new patch notes I think this has already been fixed for PS3/360 I'll have to check...

I thought it looked great throughout personally. The texture quality might not have been the best but the overall architecture and unique locations made up for it completely.

Good question. I don't think you'd be able to find out or notice until getting the soldiers key unless they say something. If not I be the modding community will attempt to make it look as close to the early trailers as possible.

Not bad! I'm more excited for how much smoother it'll run and faster load times on the menus/items. Glad there are more customizable options this time around. I'm sure the game will get a nice graphics upgrade courtesy of the modding community. The game is stunning either way.
