Does this really measure reliability though? There’s no mention of major repairs or engine/tranny replacements. Anything can run for 200k miles if you throw enough money at it. Well anything except a Fiat anyway.

Let’s see if my math checks out here. My Suburban is now 47 years old and has 100,000 miles on the odometer, so hmm (carry the 2, multiply by the inverse of Euler’s number) yes, it seems that I might be able to get at least 47 more years of use out of it.
