Jokes on them.   The US didn’t lose a single F-35 during the Vietnam war.

Silk Road Diplomacy and a threatened Chinese blockade of the South China Sea (which is actually between Vietnam, the Philippines, and Indonesia, well outside China’s territorial waters) might beg to differ.

“Some of us, not me, pinched our noses and voted for Hilldawg.”

Forgot these last 2-3 years; he’s been in the Senate since the dawn of time and has done nothing.

You know who else polled ahead of Trump in 2016? Hillary Clinton. 3,000,000 votes more.

Of course you hate the other Democrat candidates. This is because the candidate you like is not a Democrat. Bernie registered as a Dem to run in 2016, then promptly left the party afterwards. That’s OK! But don’t bitch about Democrats not being Democratic Socialists. They aren’t the same thing.

Marriage.

For me, Bernie Sanders is a little like Jesus Christ.

Same. Also, not just too old. Too many questionable comments about race, including one hella recently. And then there’s the matter of not responding quick enough to sexual harassment in his campaign. And, has he ever commented on the toxicity of some of his (male) supporters?

Fuck it.

Not to mention that he’s not a fucking Democrat.

This is how he wants to end his career, huh? Okay.

As a Bernie supporter that voted for him in the primaries in 2016:

Is there a word (maybe in German?) for generally agreeing with someone but finding them incredibly tiresome?

“... instead of pitching a stupid, punitive tantrum over the prospect of one of the sport’s biggest stars expressing an opinion about where he’d like to work.”

Stop trying to make “Lebron James, Anthony Davis and the Lakers are the victims here!” happen. It’s not going to happen.

We get it. As a basketball fan, seeing LeBron and AD play together would have been cool (and still might be, next season). Acting like New Orleans had some sort of obligation to make that happen, whether they're able to get a better haul this summer or not, is a bad take.

The Lakers are not “the league’s asset-rich flagship franchise”, but Deadspin can continue to ceaselessly beat that drum I suppose.

The Pelicans shouldn’t have traded one of the best players in the NBA for what amounts to trash. Kuzma is this year’s Jordan Clarkson, how are things in Cleveland? The value of what LA has continues to depreciate with every loss, I don’t see how one can argue this is a trade that should have been made.
