I doubt they are truly producing at a 260,000 cars-per-year rate, but even 200,000 would be far better than I would have expected even before all the production hell stuff leaked out.

Its just a stock Model 3 though. Its not a stretch to think the performance version will fix the braking and overheating issues, not to mention have a serious bump in output. I doubt it will be able to put out a 3-4 session day, but the Roadster? Seems like they are building it to do exactly that.

Much larger battery pack combined with much lower weight to drag around means less draw from individual cells and lower heat production. With cooling systems it should be possible to make an EV trackable for at least a full session.
