I like Smart too, but hes a name and someone will pay him much more than the Celtics can afford to. Problem is, the Celtics can’t go into the tax until Kyrie is up for a new contract after the 2019 season.

Philly has a lot of length, just like the Bucks, but they are decidedly less athletic as a group which is strange given their run and gun style (which the bucks also like to do), but they are better at shooting the 3. The Bucks taking the Celtics to 7 seems to have been a great lead-in for dealing with this Philly…

I felt the opposite. Looked like Boston was absolutely dominating both ends but just couldn’t pull away at all. That said, agreed on the Boston counter-punching. Every time Philly was getting the lead to single digits, they would leave someone wide-the-fuck-open for a 3.

The Celtics would play small almost 100% of the time if Hayward and Irving were healthy. Obviously, Tatum/Brown/Rozier are going to lose minutes when they come back, but I don’t think it will be a drastic decrease. Morris/Smart are likely to get the shorter end of that stick
