@RougeMood: Wow. Them's is some interesting hero standards right there.

@Hamsterpants: Oh. I thought they switched tops. Guess I'm not buying much these days...

I'm missing something. Is this woman worth the effort?

Kid on the Green Machine FTW!

Interesting, the differences between the "rules" (externally motivated) of chivalry and the "spirit" (internally motivated) of chivalry.

BRP Can Am Spyder. Oops. I forgot. It's way overpriced. Silly me.

If it remains true to its roots, it has relevance. It was originally an inexpensive sports car. THAT demand will never cease. Change, yes. But demand for inexpensive sports cars will continue as long as adolescent males breathe.

Oh — Renault R5 Turbo.

What are the best? The original ones which notably took a basic car and made it shine. Some decent examples include the VW Rabbit GTI, the Mercedes-Benz W124 series 500E/E500 (If you're paying attention, they're incredible performance for the value), Contour SVT, and the MIP (Malaise Improvement Program) vehicles like

I think we need to pair this with a Mr. Fusion.

Another pang of pain. This affliction began in early 1998. Just east of Nurnberg. On the autobahn, middle lane, headed toward Czech Republic in my 1988 VW Golf GTI 16v. Running about 90mph. Ref: Military discount. A token gesture. Appreciated, but not big enough. It's a paradigm shift to bring military riders from Harley to BMW and $250-$500 is unlikely to spur the jump.

I saw the "XKE nose" in the thread here and thought "call it a 'shooting brake' and up the price 15%." Then I thought "what percent of the population even recalls 'shooting brake'?" *Poof* another one bites the dust.

Risk is relative. Here's an example: I just approved an award for a 19 year old who drove more than 1,600 miles this past month in her undefended, partially armored tractor trailer. In Northern Iraq. By choice. To help ensure her fellow soldiers got the supplies they need. I'm pretty darn proud of her and her fellow

@Benito: Go Down East! Can't beat some fresh lobstah, a-yuh.

Wickid Pissah!
