Batteries are still very expensive, even Tesla can’t get profitable at that price yet and they have the best battery costs if not the best car production costs. It does seem to compete well though if you don’t need to be seen in a Tesla.

To be fair, the current emissions regs DO favor larger footprint vehicles.

According to Rich Rebuilds, a ton of Teslas have come off the 8 year warranty, so many folks are dumping them in favor of new Teslas or other cars.

Not saying you’re wrong (normal new model drop off, and economic conditions would tend to confirm), but given the rush to ramp up production, I’d be more going with production processes being streamlined now that numbers are ‘normalised’ and there isn’t the need to throw people at it any more.

Evora was going to be my suggestion.  No idea if it’s any good or not, but it ticks all the boxes.  Can you get a manual in one?

You know, it’s odd, but my mind went to De Tomaso as well. But I was thinking of something designed to eat Cobras.

Not exactly “exotic” per say, but really freaking cool and unique in the US

Singers begin at $400k, and average $600k.

They’re about as common as Honda Civics in Beverly Hills dude, let alone SoCal lol. I see one at least twice a week in San Diego.
