@animeman59: He looks pretty fucking white to me. Certainly the most fair skinned person bar a few of the villains. The movie sucked, yes, but not because of (the race of) the cast.

@PSWii2008: The cutscenes we see in the shortfilm are really cut up, they spliced Seth's Treasure and John (not) catching Williamson together, as well as a few things with the tonic.
