Yep. I ended a budding friendship with an acquaintance last week once I found out they were a Trump supporter. One of their statements that baffled me was “The Dems just try to turn everything into a gotcha moment to make Trump look bad.”

I’m still convinced that if this bully had been called out non-stopped on his lies during the 2016 he would’ve dropped out. But instead we got the feckless fuckers in mainstream media who so desperatly wanted to keep their precious access.

The problem is who has control over who gets access. The president should never be allowed to take away access from a reporter because they don’t like something the reporter did or said.

With my mother, who had dementia, every month or so I’d ask her who the President of the US was and of course she wouldn’t know. Every time I told her that Trump was president, she’d look in disbelief and say, “What? No! Really?” She was precious.
