Changes the whole meaning from "Does it blend??" to "Does it blend fruit and ice!?!"

Let me get this straight. All of this cool technology, and I'm still picking up paper magazines to read, while STILL holding my smart-device? Meet the new QR code.

I'm not sure if the question was ever considered by the author of this article, but... Is the HUD even a secret component of any fighter jet? I don't believe it's anything so sophisticated these days. What should be secret is specific information displayed and other components that give America (or China, I suppose)

A little late to comment, but a fundamental problem with this design is that both destruction methods require power. True and useful self-destruction doesn't, and in fact there are SSD drives out there with internal chemical-induced destruct systems which do not require a power source to activate or complete. Also,

Another issue with energy waves (radio) vs. particles is when it comes to communications: One benefit is integrity. If someone intercepts an energy wave transmission, it can be recorded without the knowledge of the sender or recipient. On the other hand, if you're using single particles to transmit data, then you

Well, I think it's pretty cool that the Chinese were able to demonstrate the concept with technology they stole from another country.

It's swamp gas!!

So now they need to aim for eBay and Amazon and all the other aggregated seller sites because they also assist in the trafficking of counterfeit products!

I wonder how your tune will sound next time you're admitted to a hospital. Maybe you can make this same comment to the hospital staff...

Considering the source of this article is a YouTube video, I will seriously not take this article seriously.

@8thManOnTheMoon: Dragging your fingers across the screen for a security unlock feature? It leaves smudge marks and fingerprints. You might as well have written your password or PIN on the back of the phone. In fact, entering a PIN is nearly as useless, but at least that requires some guessing.

For the record, the robbers only used Facebook to rob ONE home, and it was a person who announced an upcoming vacation. The rest of the homes were standard robberies without ANY Facebook involvement. Giz, please check the facts before you repost fear-mongering 'reports.'

I don't see why they can't just give me one simple option: Place all UNREAD email at the top, then let me (yes, Google, ME) decide which senders I don't want for this to happen with... Oh, and I'd like to be able to SORT my Gmail messages, too... for once... by sender or subject. Quit wasting time with stupid

So, what happens if, after upgrading Firefox on one computer, an older version is launched on another computer and the files have already synced from the newer version?

OH MY GOD! DOUBLE GOOGLE! WHAT DOES IT MEAN!?!?

@TheCrudMan: The best replication of incandescent bulbs I've seen are the GE Reveal line of CFLs. They don't flicker when you switch them on, either. Great bulbs and color — every light in my home has been replaced with a Reveal CFL. Can't even tell they're CFLs.

As an owner of the X25-E series of Intel SSDs, I can guarantee you it's worth every penny. But for now, focus them on your OS and Apps, NOT your mass storage (which is still cheaper as secondary storage).

Hmmm... isn't that photo of the monkey at Futarasan shrine, Nikko, Japan?

Oh, one more thing — Apple should have just dodged this whole thing by selling every iPhone 4 with a bumper on it in the first place, and leave those who don't want a cover to remove it themselves or buy another. I bet every penny in my piggy bank this debacle would have been kept under the rug if that were the
