"Coupé" is a French word, with a a French accent on the é which doesn't exist in English. "France" happens to be a name with the same spelling in both English and French, like "compare" or "photo".

Well, because other nations make the effort to respect the original pronunciation (in this case from a french word, could have been german or italian).
Like I said to another commenter, they had to dumb it down for the US market. What's more true to the real intention of the manufacturer, its home website or its US website?
