They are still surviving alone in this shitty economic times. And their catering meals still taste like food. They even use... metal cutlery! Dialy newspaper and magazine included, and very friendly when I had some problems with overbooking. I use them frequently to travel home, and if you want to go to Brazil next…

Except we're talking about a video that didn't make the list. You could have gotten the hint from :
The sneaky author of this article initially placed a video of a Lamborghini in this item. Then he edited it like a ninja and now my comment looks stupid.
Well, that guy was a total douche anyway... Karma sorta got back at him I guess.
A ratty e34 M5 doesn't qualify as a super car, I believe.
Filmed in portrait, just perfect.
Over here, in continental Europe, taxes madly favor Diesels (on top of the fuel itself being cheaper than gasoline).
See, there is a huge conflict of interests regarding emission regulations for Diesels. As you pointed out, those filthy oil burner emit gases in the same category as illegal weapons or now-banned materials. Particle filters are not effective for all particles, and cats certainly have nothing to do with those particles…
Yes! If the people who drive those things were the only suffering (of a poor driving experience, for instance), fine by me... I didn't ask for their particles in my food, water and air!
You do realize it makes no sense to pull the red line on Diesel, right? If you're not an idiot, you drive it between 1.5k and 3.5k RPM, at best... So, being generous, a 2k RPM range qualifies as ridiculous, in my book.
My point exactly. Thank you.
I meant the exact opposite of what it seems you have understood. The prejudice discussed here is :
12 RPM was a slight stretch from "1.5k RPM at best", thanks for illustrating my point. Feel free not share your black smoke on your way home then.
Ok first of all, what's up with you commenters assuming I come from a third world country?Anyway, I've driven plenty of modern diesels (kinda had to, unfortunately: Golf TDi, 123d, 335d, as well as a wide range of less powerful hatches) and designing engines is what put food in my plate and a roof over my head.
France. I've driven plenty of modern and so called "Powerful" Diesels, I hate them.
Again, powerful, sure. It might even be drivable with a decent auto box (I am thinking VAG sourced DSG, for instance). If you're deaf, you might not kill yourself.
America got it all wrong. Modern diesels are clean, efficient and powerful as a locomotive. Like a good TDI, not a Delta. There's no shame in having a diesel.
