I actually liked the second Fantastic Beasts movie more than the first, though...

You might want to consider rewording that title. For someone who didn’t know about the Evo CEO thing, the current wording would sound more like Evo pulled the games because people involved with their development had been accused of abuse.

This. And the thing is, it’s arguably sort of unintentionally racist and patronizing for people to assume these kinds of situations specifically were taking opportunities away from minority voice actors in the first place. Nothing about voice acting makes race relevant at all, so minorities should be able to voice any

Like the other person said, too, they’ve done stuff like supporting Hillary Clinton. (See “America Votes with Cards Against Humanity.”) If anything, the main stunts that *you’re* cherry-picking seem intended more to be making fun of consumerism than anything else, which is obviously supposed to be ironic considering

I found a source for it in like ten seconds. Look up “Cards Against Humanity Redistributes Your Wealth.” And obviously the promotions you’ve listed here were just random stuff they did to be funny, the same as with other promotions they’ve done in the past like selling completely random stuff for 99% off.

It can have anthromorphic animal characters and still be about something else. The same dismissive comment as yours here could be said about things like BoJack Horseman or Aggretsuko, too.

This looks awesome, but I’ll be pretty surprised if Nintendo doesn’t C&D it considering it’s being sold rather than being free and they’re using NES game footage to advertise it.

“I don’t think it means they get ‘cancelled out’ as much as it means you should probably drill down on what role you think state power should play in people’s lives.”

Their comment is basically just about separating art from the artist. You can care about issues and still be willing to do that.

It probably wouldn’t matter if he has a career anymore or not considering Twitch may very well have to give him the entire value of the exclusivity contract as severance. He wasn’t really doing much now that could be interpreted as a violation which he wasn’t already doing before Twitch decided to enter into the

I thought Secret Society of Second-Born Royals had been pushed back to September?

This is a massive exaggeration. They’re a very tiny minority, the same as with any toxic part of a fandom. And the 900 racist images they cite as being on the fandom’s biggest image-hosting site are 900 images out of OVER TWO MILLION images.

If you mean the “Recommended” games on the side, those are made by other people. This person does have some other fan games, but nothing based on Nintendo properties.

This. And even in the case of trademarks, they don’t have to do something in every case - just ones that are especially egregious in regard to causing potential confusion for consumers. Nobody’s going to think Nintendo made a game that’s being explicitly advertised as an unofficial fan game, and as far as I know,

That’s a common misconception. Absolutely nothing has to be done to defend copyrights at all. It’s impossible to lose them no matter what, and there’s even debate over whether an IP holder can intentionally release something into the public domain or not. Trademarks, on the other hand, do have to be protected, but

The problem is that doing that by saying certain characters have to be played by people from certain races inherently perpetuates the idea that people should be divided by race regardless of the intentions behind it.

I was with you until you started talking about multiplayer games. Multiplayer games are even more tedious and repetitive than long single-player games that have a lot of stuff thrown in to just pad out the playtime.

This, and I’d like less “huge open world” games, too. All it adds most of the time is a lot of running around and grinding with huge amounts of tedious side quests that are obviously there just to pad out the length. I finally dropped the Assassin’s Creed series at Odyssey because they were just adding more and more

That’s probably the main intention, though - to introduce a new audience to his stand-up. If it does well and Netflix orders another special, he’ll probably do more new stuff for that one.

Okay, after looking around a bit, I think you’re probably right. There seems to be a bit of conflicting info, but it seems more likely than not. (Up until you said that, I had thought it was just six 10-minute episodes.)
