I know I'm late to the party but I've been pretty disappointed in this season. The mythology behind the "big bads" is, like always, incredibly confusing and impossible to follow. I have no idea which, if any, of the Siren sisters I'm supposed to be rooting for and don't understand why, even in the final season, TVD

I think it's just a reminder of her connection to the Russian flashbacks. We already know that she's looking into it for somebody else. I'm not buying this "She drugged Oliver" theory. Pretty sure Laurel is real.

What a fantastic episode. I can't get over how great it was that after Oliver accidentally killed Billy, he just came right out and told everyone and they supported him. I was really worried he'd keep it a secret or lie about it to set up Flash-level Melodrama. That was a really touching scene to see how the team

I could watch an entire episode of Nick and Mr. Jason having that nonsensical conversation. I laughed so hard at that. Reminded me of Nick at his best with Tran.

I miss the first season tone…the show teased at it with the delightful visit to Earth 3's Trickster/i.e. Mark Hamill playing the live action version of the Joker and the great holiday party…but damn everything is so grim and gloomy now all the time. The only characters who get to have any sort of joy are HR (who is

I…did not enjoy this episode. I think Alaric's pretty much an irredeemable ass at this point and deserves a trip to hell more than Damon. I miss old Season 1 Alaric and Damon. But yeah…Alaric guilting Caroline over something that was not remotely her fault was pretty ridiculous, and par for the course for

It's across the Arrowverse so she won't be stuck to a specific show, similar to the deals signed by Barrowman, etc.

To be fair, I think we're gonna be seeing a lot more of Katie Cassidy throughout the Arrowverse the remainder of this year. I think the writing for Laurel was sort of unfair to Katie and she will probably get a chance to reboot her character and have more fun in the role. I hope at least.

Yeah, this was definitely a top 3 episode of the series. Amazing. Just seeing a happy Oliver and Thea with their parents (Moira!!!) was awesome on its own. Then you add in all the other great stuff and it's a legendary episode. So well done. And I couldn't agree more with you Alasdair about the warmth and

Oh man Latoya, I can't agree with you giving this episode a B- on account o the masterpiece that was the Chinese Triad scene. I felt like Maze's increasingly obvious sexual innuendo was a spiritual successor to my favorite scene of the entire series, Ella pantomiming a handjob during the recreation of the crime scene

I think it's relatively safe to say Lucifer is in love with Chloe…and she probably reciprocates. It was a good job by the show to put this on the backburner and then re-establish this last week with Chloe getting jealous over Lucifer/Ella. I mean, Lucifer was willing to return to hell in order to save Chloe's life.

I liked a lot of this, but I completely agree with the complaints. Alaric, Enzo, and Stefan eulogizing Tyler was just laughable. I think the show should have just stuck with Matt, Caroline, and Bonnie for that scene to have more impact.

I never thought I'd see an actor out-ham Mcdonough and Barrowman…but Dolph Lundgren is coming pretty damn close. I LOVE IT. Kovar is so fantastic and you can just see how much fun Lundgren is having hamming it up like that. It's just so perfect and the flashbacks this year have been a strength of the show…which

I'm completely flabbergasted by the Isabella storyline…is that it? What was the point of that lol? I thought maybe there would be a twist like she wasn't dead and was plotting some kind of revenge scheme against Nygma and Cobblepot. Are we just taking it at face value the show hired the same actress to play a

Great review LaToya as usual. Oh man, I lost it during the "crime scene reenactment" with Lucifer and Ella. Leading up to the pantomimed handjob and Chloe's increasingly perplexed looks…just absolutely freaking perfect. Amazing.

I thought the mythology stuff was really cool and well-done. I like the idea of it not being a literal hell with the literal devil, but rather some sort of psychic prison world. It ties together seasons of material, and the end with Georgie getting dragged off in exactly the same way as Katherine was really cool. I

Yeah, I'm not sure if they're setting up Amaya and Nate. I get what you're saying, but early on it looked like they were setting up Ray and Amaya, and there's still some chemistry between Nate and Sara. I think maybe we read sexual chemistry into scenes where they're just trying to pair characters together for the

Maybe I misunderstood but they weren't ordering a hit on Lucifer…they were ordering the false confession. I think the understanding was Dan would kill Lucifer and then that guy would provide the false confession.

Another great episode, maybe the best of the series. I can't say enough how impressive it is what the show has done with Dan. They got an Awww from me for that whole scene at the improv class, ending with Lucifer and Dan miming together. So cute.

I really enjoyed this episode. I liked the spotlight on Bonnie. And I liked the callbacks to Bamon. I was kind of expecting Sybil to call Damon out on maybe being in love with Bonnie as I can't seem to stop shipping them. But the friendship thing is great.
