How does this get a C+? I almost never mind grades, but this was one of the best episodes of the series. I enjoy the fun cartoonish tone…that's exactly what a series about B-list heroes travelling through time should be.

This was FANTASTIC. Best episode I've seen of this show. A lot of credit to Tyler Hoechlin, who really got the Clark Kent aspect of his performance down. Very enjoyable.
Fun episode yet again. Not as good as last week's but I'm really enjoying Tricia Helfer in this role.
I really enjoyed this. I agree the "Flashpoint" altered reality went by too fast and seemed a little perfunctory, but with how the episode ended (with yet another altered reality) I think it made sense to get through it quickly. In general, I'm not a fan of the show constantly messing with its own established…
Man…I loved this so much. What a season premier! I know there have been issues with how this show shoots action scenes and some of the visuals, but everything with Ghost Rider was FANTASTIC. What a badass, great introduction and I think him and Daisy will be a great pairing going forward.
Absolute shit. The obvious "fix" is to stop making Raw about non-wrestlers. On Smackdown, Daniel Bryan is being used perfectly to put the Miz over but otherwise the GMs aren't involved too much. Feuds stand on their own, being carried by the wrestlers involved in them.
So glad this show is back (and the reviews with it!). Lucifer is probably one of the most fun shows on TV right now.
It was one of the better TV romances imo. It sort of went to shit in Season 5 (Cole should have either stayed dead after Season 4 or been the "leader" of the Avatars in Season 7 rather than the stupid forced death he had in Season 5).
I'm glad this show gets a spotlight, and a well-written one at that. I grew up on Charmed and Buffy. While I wouldn't necessarily call Charmed a good show, I think it gets a bad rap from the utter shit-show it became after season 5 (and really it started coming apart in the middle of Season 5, unsurprisingly to me…
AJ Styles's promo was a thing of freaking beauty. Pitch perfect bullshit apology/non apology. Cena is the absolute worst- He's delivered that exact same promo so many times you know exactly what happens after he takes the PPV loss. He will tell you you have no balls, that your first win doesn't count until you do…
agreed 100%. It's a completely different show. I understand the showrunners are constantly looking to cut costs as Reign is hilariously poorly rated, but Mary's handmaidens should still be around in various places appearing regularly to act as anchors.
I really wasn't a fan of this. Shit happened, but I felt like it was not set up well at all.
For whatever reason, Mary doesn't really seem to have chemistry with anyone. It's weird. I didn't even like Mary and Francis but I think she had the most chemistry with him. She had none with Bash either, and even less with Conde (her real-life boyfriend I think lol). Gideon's fine to me, because again, better…
James has appeared on the show in Season 1. He tried to get Mary to return home to unify the country as they did not like Mary's French mother ruling. So he knows what she looks like.
Mary: "Bash, I need you to create a distraction."
Bash: (eagerly) "Yeah Mary, sure I'll murder someone for you!!!!"
Latoya, like usual your review is right on the money. Thanks for these reviews. Also enjoyed your turn on Shoemaker's podcast.
1) Adelaide Kane was distractingly beautiful this episode with her hair all wet.
I think the show has basically been playing out her resolution at the end of ADWD on-screen that a Dragon plants no trees. Tougher for the show without access to her thoughts like her POV chapters, but I took it as a way for her to solidify what happened at Vaes Dothrak and truly embrace her conqueror.
I feel like in the books she's gonna end up there too, at least temporarily. Seems like a way for her to truly "go back" so she can "go forward" according to the terms of the prophecy.
It's always possible it could play out similarly…
