This was terrible. Really really terrible. For me I had sort of an opposite problem than the reviewer- Gordon crossing the line like he did was sort of a jump the shark moment for me. To have any investment in this show I'd need Gordon to have some sort of moral superiority. He should be a sentimental idealist

yeah, this was absolutely atrocious for a mid-season finale or whatever they're calling it. Unbelievable that this show got green-lighted and somehow managed to be even WORSE than the original trainwreck version of the show.

Yeah, this episode brought a bunch of things together and reminded me of the good old Vampire Diaries days.

I like it so far, but it is a mixed bag. They've introduced this whole sire lines idea which I think was pretty cool and allowed them to introduce some cool new/really old vamps. Wish the Heretics were half as charismatic and entertaining.

ugh. Yeah. This episode was really terrible. Would call it a jump the shark episode but Heroes did that in the finale to its first season.

Well to be fair to Michael Malarkey (btw, anyone else laugh when he used it in a sentence?) and to Enzo, I don't think the character is bad, I just think the show doesn't and never has known how to use him. He was kind of awesome when he was first introduced as Damon's bestie, but since then he's been stuck in the

yeah, it seems clearer and clearer each week that the Heretics are the show's idea of a "replacement" for the Originals, but yeah…that's failing miserably. I feel like we already went through this shit with Nora/Mary Louise with the far superior Claire Holt/Rebekah going through this (in terms of adjusting to

Shocked by the positive reaction to this- this was terrible imo.

Great episode to me. Honestly, I really like Lola and Narcisse together so I disagree with your criticism. I think they're a lot of fun together.

Well, I honestly think there's nothing new about Steroline that makes Caroline look stupid and weak lol…the whole story with the two of them has already done just that. The Valerie stuff is 5000% less galling to me than Liz Forbes death being all about how Caroline had feelings for Stefan and everything that happened

I know I'm late to the party here and nobody will probably read this, but had to post after just watching:

Wow, this review was harsh to me and off the mark. Definitely thought it was a B+ effort. Felt like a Season 1 episode to me. The whole drug kingpin bit was designed to be superfluous and shallow- criticizing the show for succeeding in that seems over the top to me.

I thought this was really good, with some major caveats.
1. I too can't stand how they just seemed to abandon the Fitz brain damage arc.
2. In general, as with all time passage kind of things, I feel like I'm just missing a lot. I would prefer them to show major stuff like Skye controlling her powers and changing her

Boring. There were some bright spots, and it was an improvement over last year, but not enough to keep my attention for the full episode. The most interesting part of the episode to me was hilariously enough Barbara and Galavan and Jerome. I like the newer more darker/sadistic tone which hopefully they just commit

I actually really enjoyed Kane for the first time in forever, even if he was just ripping off Joseph Park in TNA, which itself was a ripoff of Mankind back in WWF lol. But for the first time Kane felt kind of creepy again with the dual personality, and as Kane showed in Team Hell NO he is really pretty funny and good

Didn't even see this review. I posted this in the TVD thread and copy paste:

Also, not that anyone cares, but are we done with Reign reviews? I knew after this season they were gonna be over, but still thought we'd get the finale.

yes, it was awful. Awful. I think Cami is the worst character ever. There is no point and no chemistry.

Cami is the freaking worst. I will never understand how Elijah can ever forgive Klaus. Like, it's okay for Klaus to kill Gia to pretend being evil, but not Cami.

A+ is right. This was absolutely fantastic. I've been hard on Plec and Dries for a while for their total capitulation to shippers which has ruined the shows in many ways, but this was an absolutely brilliant way of writing off Elena and the PERFECT villanous act for Kai considering his relationships with the 1994
