It's so funny because I didn't know at the time, but I just kept thinking "This guy reminds me exactly of Trevor", especially when he delivered that line about ethnics and their passions or whatever. Hilarious that it actually was him.

Great show up until the last hour/30 minutes, but it's just crazy to me that anyone can read that crowd and think that main event would go over okay. I wonder if it's partly intentional, just so WWE can bait the crowd and be like "Wow, we love our passionate fans, wink wink."
I think Chuck believes his own bullshit only to the extent that it helps him justify his superiority over Jimmy. But no, I wouldn't say he really believes he's helping the law or anything, he just wants a justification to hold Jimmy back because he thinks he's scum, through and through.
Well my understanding is that Chuck doesn't really believe that (what he said about the law). The understated portion of it, and the true reason for him holding Jimmy back, is that he thinks Jimmy is scum and will go back to being slipping Jimmy first chance he gets. All the more crushing I think.
That was a powerful powerful scene; Don't want to quite put this show on Breaking Bad level, but man, it was up there. This is really turning into an awesome show. Never thought I could (a) feel bad for Jimmy/Saul to this extent and (b) hate Chuck to this level.
I thought this was the best episode yet in terms of banter and characterization. Solid all-around. I have 2 complaints:
Anyone else get the sense the show is sort of purposely sabotaging Felicity to help make Laurel look better by comparison? I mean because man, all she does is cry now. Seriously, I"m pretty sure she's cried in every episode she's been in this season, and is always stuck saying mean dumb shippy nonsense to Oliver.
Barry isn't just some random "dude" though. As Eddie says, he considered him to be a friend. That "dude" knew Iris was very serious with Eddie, he wasn't just randomly hitting on her, he was openly saying "Forget Eddie, who cares about him". A punch was more than warranted imo.
Thought I'd post this here. Greatest thing ever?
This show's officially in a slump since returning. These past few episodes have not been good
Yeah…I mean holy shit was that Barry/Iris/Eddie stuff awful. If the show has to manipulate itself so much to make Barry/Iris a thing…maybe it shouldn't be a thing in the first place.
Well, they already sort of ruined his great send-off with all the ridiculous ghost stuff that came afterwards so I'm fine with him coming back. I wish the show didn't kill him off because he'd be fantastic in this current Mark of Cain storyline.
Well, he was on commentary, and that's become an automatic "Don't pay attention" situation for me. I can't stand JBL and Cole, they never call the matches and constantly try and get themselves over at the expense of the wrestlers.
It was a good Raw…but that ending though. Sort of ruined the whole vibe. The Reigns conspiracy theories have to be real at this point— I've been reading about Live Events in which Reigns is in the midcard and Daniel Bryan is the main eventer. Sort of crazy for the Wrestlemania main eventer to not be the selling…
Yeah, I think "solid" pretty much sums this show up. You can take that for what it is, but I wouldn't feel too compelled to catch up on missed episodes as the show has been VERY procedural so far with only a few hints as to overarching stories (which is basically just Milt's demotion from FBI to Battle Creek).
Glad to have these awesome reviews back. You've pretty much hit the nail on the head re Grimm's "competence" I guess you can say. It knows what it does well, and sticks to it, even in light of terrible story decisions the show still powers on and is always well-done and entertaining.
It does seem like the show is setting it up, but then again Dries and Plec seem to be unapologetic Delena shippers so I wouldn't put it past them to just be throwing some shade at any other ships that don't adhere to the "epic" kissing in the rain ship that is Delena.
Yes, I'm guessing Bash is going back to Scotland with Mary, along with Lola and maybe Kenna.
lol. I was cracking up at that too. He really was eye-fucking her. I too, like Fallonam , thought he was getting ready to propose a threesome. The old, cooler, funner version of Damon 100% would have.
Ugh. Elena was becoming tolerable again and then she goes ahead and refers to her "two epic loves". Just ugh. Can we get a moratorium on Elena calling her own relationships epic? Please show?
