Any article about Tesla is going to be a hit piece because they’re piles of garbage.

“Voluntary recall” almost always means that NHTSA went to the vendor and said “There’s a problem, and you don’t seem to be fixing it. It sure would be a shame if the government had to issue a recall instead of you doing it yourself. Sure would be a shame.” The UI on the right is FAR superior.

Wait. So, do you work for Tesla, or have your years of pro-Tesla comments on Jalopnik just been for fun?

I do love the low commitment aspect. I believe they’ve crafted an experience that will demand pretty much 0 hours of my time. :P

*looks at GOTG, Antman, and Dr.Strange* oh yeah this is definitly the first time they pulled out the d-list.

The Joy cons in the joy con grip isn’t quite as ergonomic as a pro controller but it’s totally fine and included with the Switch

The proportions for some models match exactly for limb spacing, joint placement, as well as other landmarks (this was not debunked)- this is not possible without using a ripped model as the base. There are also 1:1 matches on body parts/components that were removed from 1 model and stuck on another one. Your claim

I don’t know if you’re familiar with the concept of copying, but if I start from scratch and make a 3D model that looks identical to a pokemon but has different geometry, that’s still a copy.

You’re a 3D artist and you don’t understand how scaling an object works? I hope your employer doesn’t see this post.

1. “Zooming in” in 3d space is a description of a camera movement. You’re talking about scaling the model.

....is it?

Is there honestly more to this than “isn’t it funny you can shoot Pokemon like creatures with a gun?”  Is that now considered satire?

Not sure if this modder realizes it, but rescaling the models absolutely counts as editing them.”

Zooming in on something is editing it? I’ve seen some terrible takes around this game, but this is one of the worst.

Don’t think of it as modifying, think of it as zooming in on one model so they both line up.

Scaling is not modifying. 3D modeling/sculpting software are all different in units of size/scale. You could make a desk lamp model in Modeling Software A, import it into Modeling Software B, and instead sitting nicely on top of a desk, the lamp is the size of the desk itself. One *must* adjust the scale in order to

What? Scaling means nothing. Scaling is a completely transform-free process in 3D modeling. 1 inch means 1 foot means 1 astronomical unit because these virtual worlds are completely unit free.

First-person ugh

Calling Kyle MacLachlan “Discount Bruce Campbell” is insane!

Pardon me, but that is THE Mayor of Portland.

I absolutely loved the way they structured Fear Street. Part miniseries, part film event, with the trilogy coming together to tell a larger, complete story, each installment informing the whole...it genuinely felt like something a bit new and different. I was hoping it might lead to more experiments from streaming
