The biggest shock of all this to me is that he’s straight. Based on the clips I see on Tumblr, I thought all the Try Guys were gay.

I really doubt that. Certainly sounds like a fun internet rumor, though!

I agree about Cloverfield Lane, but Overlord isn’t a Cloverfield movie. The Cloverfield Paradox was an original script (like Cloverfield Lane) that Abrams had altered to be part of the Cloverfield series.

If this is anything like the previous two Cloverfield movies, I wonder what the script was originally supposed to be before JJ slapped the Cloverfield name on it?

The drunk fight scene was where that thought went away... mostly. I somehow missed that it was after the ceremony, I thought she was getting loaded beforehand.

That’s my problem with Netflix - there’s just so much stuff, a lot of it not the best quality, that it takes forever to sift through. I’d much rather have a smaller catalogue of hits than a bloated mess of content.

Tawny Newsome (Mariner) was on Space Force which recently ended. And I’m sure Noel Wells (Tendi) did a sci-fi sketch or two on SNL.

This series does not need to be a franchise. I’m very apprehensive about a second season. It especially doesn’t need a reality competition show (which I think Netflix is still moving forward with?). It’s almost like none of these producers and executives took a moment to consider what the show is actually about...
