I bet that’s probably considered a breach of contract, kinda like not showing up to work. That sort of move would probably be good enough to get you fired (after some fines), but I doubt any other team would want you at that point because there’s always the possibility you’ll do it to them.

Very true. I think the only time that’s unavoidable is with large events/airports where drivers are required to go to a specific pickup point.

Honestly, it’s kinda necessary. I’ve had random people get in the Uber I ordered and because the driver didn’t ask for the name, left without me. Happened once in the Leeds city centre and the other time at my uni.

I really wish American men would get comfortable with this sort of touching. It took a bit of getting used to when I first moved to the UK, but I think it’s one of the reasons why I’m closer with my friends here than the ones I left in the US. There are so many benefits of male touch.

Sierra Canyon did away with their middle school a few years ago. Rather than elementary, middle, and high, they now have “lower” (through 6th grade) and “upper” (7th-12th). To be fair, they did this to be more in line with the other elite private schools in northern LA area.

Agree with all of what you’ve stated. I moved to Leeds a year and a half ago from the states and while it’s by no means a political picnic, I much prefer living here to the US. I have more hope of the ship righting itself in the UK though.
