this fixes so many issues; sidewalk real estate, cords left on the ground, vandalism, etc.

I’m surprised the Cybertruck was able to make it out there in the first place

Now playing

This is how a lot of people felt with this “Supra”

They still don’t make sense. That’s why EV roadside assistance (if it’s even offered in your area) either sends out cargo vans/trucks with huge batteries that fill up the back or they just tow your car to the nearest charging station.

Electric “jerry cans” aren’t comparable to gas ones at all.

It’s not just the RTI test. It’s the combination of it along with the rest of the truck. That’s why the comparisons to the CT examples make no sense.

I mean, it’s right there

This is why this type of tech has a LONG way to go. There are plenty of regional or location-specific situations like this people run into all the time and easily adapt to in a way a car never can.

Not mentioning RTI tests directly doesn’t mean they’re not bs’ing, especially when Tesla is saying stuff like this. From their, “Built For Any Planet” section of the website:

In a worst-case scenario, however, an accident could leave the multibillion-dollar telescope broken — or, even more tragically, tethered to the dead bodies of the astronauts sent to repair it.

What fun would that be?

It’ll never not be amusing to see Americans misunderstand the term “overlander”

The study showed that there are nearly 500 deaths per year caused by wrong way drivers.

It’s a horrible car but it’s also cheap. People don’t buy it because they think it’s on the same level as a Toyota.

I’d rather have the GT-R

Considering most schools don’t have a class like that and certain states are more concerned with banning books, I highly doubt it will ever improve on a national level.

The Ramcharger is in a different category of truck and it isn’t a PHEV, it’s a “Range Extended EV”. The engine never powers the wheels. It will also cost more. We’ll have to wait to see what the real world range ends up being.

The effect goes the other way too. Even with a bigger battery, hauling/towing will drain it too fast to be worth it (just look at the range for EVs) and that’s assuming the engine won’t kick in, which it certainly will. The battery on the Tacoma hybrid is meant for torque, not added range. Otherwise, they’d be
