That’s not the best gif. If it was clearer (I watched it live) it looks like the ball is punched out as he’s securing it. Watching it in real time it was knocked out almost immediately.

The ruled catch-and-fumble to end the Packers game added to my confusion. This looked like less of a catch than Jesse James’.

Now playing

Lauren, that’s awesome that you finally saw them live. They’re one of my favorite bands.

I didn’t get to tell you last week, but I am so sorry about the situation you (as well as others) have been in. I can relate to both you and DG (I’m Bipolar and a recovering addict). Comments on Kinja can have a large affect that is hard to put into words. When people use comment histories against us it hurts a lot.

I think Jinni is in a horrible dilemma. She was the victim of one of the worst personal attacks I’ve ever seen on Kinja, so she probably doesn’t want to contribute to another one even if it’s completely justified. I remember her personal attack was even extended into a separate article so I thought she would see

I’m upset that she has been using Jinni as her biggest supporter. Jinni is one of the most loving commenters on this site, and Meteor has taken advantage of that. Jinni sees the best in people, and overlooks their faults. She is overlooking a very serious because of her amazing kindness.

I’m glad MD found a screenshot from that interaction I had with her. I remember thinking her responses were a little odd at the time. After last week I realized I was part of her “love bombing” as someone put it. I had considered posting it, but was nervous of getting the same kind of treatment that SP&A got.

I like the boycott idea. It’d be nice if we could get every writer to agree to ungrey one commenter a day for a month. It takes a couple minutes to check their history on here. I wish the writers would interact more in the comments altogether. All the other GMG blogs’ writers reply, recommend comments, and ungrey

My family and friends did the same thing. They wanted to blame everybody but me, but I was the only one to blame. It’s human nature to make excuses for those you love.

Season 2 of Stranger Things was better than I expected. The show was originally supposed to be a mini-series, so they did a good job at expanding the story.

I’d have the plane pull a banner that says “Merry Christmas Gayle! This is yours” and have it fly by her house.

The players are assuming that whatever they hit was at 30k feet when it’s possible they hit something while they were at a much lower altitude.

“reading the headline.”

I’m glad that HuffPost is letting Feinberg continue to keep writing those types of articles. I’m delighted by the idea of how many angry internet trolls she is pissing off over there.

Your comment is weird and barely makes sense.

So this is what passes for publication-worthy commenting these days, eh?

I live in the vicinity of Pittsburgh. Yeah, the locals and teams deserve all the scorn they get. Gotta admit though, driving into that city as you see the hills just open up to reveal that skyline is amazing.

This makes me think of the Black Mirror episode “Be Right Back”. The technology serves different purposes, but still similar.
