My 3rd Beetle was a 62 or 63 the same color as McGregor’s blue one. Had I known he was a Beetle guy I would have brought that up when we met briefly in LA a few years back.

I think a mk4 Jetta coupe would’ve sold well. Mk1 and mk2 Jetta coupes are rare and sought after (mainly for vr swaps it seems) and I think a mk4 coupe with a factory vr would have sold well then and still be desirable today.

I spent Monday in airports and missed this one. I love mk1 vee dubs like David Cameron loves pigs but with surface rust, a Maaco special paint job, and seats that filthy I wouldn’t touch this for more than about $1500. Heavy hearted CP.
