Can we get serious for a second? No more kidding around. We need to discuss this. Okay, good.
I’m thinking 2019 GMC Sierra since they’re moving to those awful door mounted mirrors. Okay on cars, not okay on trucks!
Escapes are on the shorter and narrower compact Focus platform.
I always thought they were wind speed sensors. Would explain why this one is sideways, to measure cross winds. I can’t think of any public road testing where highly accurate air temperature readings are crucial enough to need a measuring device attached.
Actually, no! I just pinged them about this, and they included a 930 in with its newer buds, and noted it in a release on the collection we didn’t get. I’ll note it as such up above so there’s no confusion.
I always assumed the “bone stock” state of a black G35 is actually with smoked taillights and a radio that only plays house music.
Wow, nice! Enjoy the new whip!
I hear the headgasket issues are Subaru’s attempt to bond with their owner pool over vaping.
I was at the PCD taking redelivery back in November and got to watch some of their practice runs. It was really amazing to watch the F10 M5 drift up and hold tight next to the F90. I just wish I could have been there for the actual run.
The 2.7 is capable alright, no doubt about that. Plenty of power and torque for anything you might want to do with a truck that size. The only issue is that if use that capability a lot, MPG will look pretty dismal compared to a diesel. Then again, no urea injection, no need to deal with diesel fuel stink at the pump,…
I think this makes sense for people that put on a lot of miles. The mpg numbers for the diesel are also likely much better than the 2.7/3.5 when towing. So for someone that tows stuff long distance, this could be an ideal vehicle. Especially if that stuff happens to be in the 5k to 8-9k pound range. That’s how you’d…
intended use for an F-150 in 2018 is no longer strictly towing and hauling, trucks have become all-purpose vehicles. It is not 1963 anymore.
in a lot smaller truck
I have an F15 X5 diesel which is rated at 24/31 and I consistently get 31-32 mpg on the highway (even at 75-80 mpg) and maybe low to mid 20's in mixed, somewhat spirited driving. I am not sure how heavy the F150 is but the X5 tips the scale at just under 5,000 lbs.
Except the mpg numbers on those trucks become decidedly un-Diesel like when pushed a bit, no?
I bought the car at Carmax but the warranty came from the credit union who is the lien holder. The warranty company is:
I’m going to miss the E89 Z4. The E85 wasn’t a horrible looking car, but there was always something a little bit off at the front end. I think it was the drooping headlights. At least for me. The E89 grew quite a bit, but it’s a gorgeous car, with long swooping lines. I think in 30 years time, we’ll begin to look back…
Oh please god no.
