I was born and have spent most of my life in Charleston. This whole thing is dumb. This group did the same thing in Charleston a couple of weeks ago. I’ll never understand the pride people feel for flag they never fought under, yet insist on forcing the general public to somehow acknowledge the flags existence.

These games were supposed to be played in Greensboro which is 54 miles from Durham and 233 miles from Columbia. Both teams travel well, so I sure they weren’t too terribly worried.

I agree while disagreeing with your point. I don’t think we as a people should dictate how someone makes a living. If directing and acting in movies is his thing then let it be his thing. If the Academy wants to nominate one of his movies for it’s top prize I think they should be allowed that opportunity.

All I’m saying is that even if Logsdon broke the rules, it was up to whoever was running the contest to ask the appropriate questions. That was not done, Logsdon went on to win, and should be honored with the money that he won.
