Idk, as a massive Harry Potter fan I enjoyed it. More of a fault of Gawker for putting the price tag on the headline I didn't need to see the price to validate this wedding was badass

are you trying to tell me your local country club didn't hold bi-weekly dog fights?

I hate how accurate that analogy is, although I do feel some casual baseball fans or sports fans in general wanna see the Cubs win.

this is what happens when you give Lacrosse to the common folk

so because these people or their parents may have some money you have to shit all over their wedding? Nice

I'd really put Cardinals fans in a league of their own, that being said my interaction with Yankees fans are minimal

it'd just be chad from Naperville instead

i call BS on that specifically from a MLB tv standpoint, the local blackout rules are insane and it’s one of the main things that keeps me from chord cutting, I could see why someone would just say fuck it and watch illegally.

to be fair there would need to be an entire overhaul of success in Chicago sports, the blackhawks are there but the bears are so inept that there's not much chance of this happening

Sam has to be the stupidest person on the face of the fucking Earth or a troll. Do people honestly think we as Cubs fans enjoy the fact that they haven't fucking won anything since before the fall of the Ottoman fucking Empire, if you meet any Cubs fan who enjoys the "Lovable Losers" identity kick them in the fucking

bros can definitely be subcategorized, these would definitely fall under the definition of "frat bro" you're probably thinking of the MMA bro. GQ actually had a really funny march madness bro tournament bracket you could look at.

and at the end of the day we can all set aside our differences and do lines in the bathroom in peace

where did I vilify anyone?

yeah that's insanity. New York is gonna be completely over Marshall by the end of this season that's how long it took in Chicago. I imagine some sort of event from his past will resurface and he'll hold an hour long press conference where he takes no responsibility for his actions.

it shows what ridiculously low standards people have for professional athletes.

legitimate question, are you the only PSU alum who has any type of reasonable take on what the school is doing right now?

It's akin to waxing poetic about college football in the south during the civil rights era or baseball pre Jackie Robinson, just very awkward and icky feeling because you know what's actually going on at the time and no one will say anything about it.

Does anyone know any sane PSU alums/fans?

This absolutely makes up for the fact that single handedly destroyed a locker room in Chicago!

At the same time these kids are looking for any excuse to "reopen" their recruiting, if you actually look at their twitter profiles they absolutely love being the center of attention. I imagine keeping the spotlight on themselves as long as possible seems pretty appealing.
