Doug, Roberta... look, I don’t think you’re going to get your asking price, or even close to your asking price. While the Marauder is a cool car, it’s not yet a classic. Maybe in another few decades, but not yet.
True, and I do appreciate the innovation, but a 20 - 30% increase in mpg still leaves it about 30% lower than current hybrids and 70% behind plug-in mpge. Just seems like a misstep to spend time and money pursuing modest gains in I.C.E. at this point.
Slow news day = a post about literally watching paint dry.
If anything guys should be sued for sending unsolicited dick pics. And I say that as a guy.
1st Gear: People just don’t give a damn. They have the car, they think it too much of a hassle over a “maybe,” and so they don’t go into the dealer for the recall. This has been ingrained in them for a long time since most recalls are for minor inconveniences and easily ignored. It’s not on the automaker because they…

Not necessarily true. Many modern high compression or turbocharged cars can run on premium or regular gas. The ECU just changes the mapping. For example the new CX-9 2.5 Turbo makes 227 hp on regular vs over 250 on premium. That 23 hp is nothing to sneeze at and if performance is what you are after you should consider…
Mid-grade, not even once.
Thinking back to my Autoparts slinging days...
Oil - even the cheapest oil that is API certified today is better than the stuff from 10-15 years ago. Actually this applies to most fluids.. Brake, PS, Washer, etc...
Bulbs - you don’t need those super expensive Long Life or hyper white tail light bulbs.
Gas - if your car doesn’t call for premium, you don’t need premium or even medium you nitwits.

Totally shocked that Schmidt walks away with a slap on the wrist.
A Rotary Camry would make America even greater than back when it was apparently greater than it currently is.
Ding Ding Ding Ding Ding Ding Ding Ding Ding Ding Ding! Same thing as back in the 2000s when cops were complaining that the Crown Vics were catching fire. Turned out they were just randomly drilling any ol’ place when they installed cargo carriers in the trunk and were puncturing the fuel tanks. Ford had to issue…
Exactly what I was thinking. Seems like a silly statement. If it starts at $35k then the car is $35k. If you want more features then the price will go up. Now if $35k gets you Chevy Aveo type entry level then that’s a whole different problem, but if base gets you a a decent amount of standard features then there’s no…
Star for some very sound logical thinking, Mr/s. Blinker Fluid.
2nd Gear: David Whiston, an auto analyst with Morningstar Inc. told Bloomberg. “The average Model 3 is going to be more like $42,000, and a fully-loaded one will probably be in the $60s. It’s not a mass-market car.” Soooooo...... A car that starts in the mid $30's, averages in the mid $40's and tops out in the mid…
Neutral. I know we aren’t big fans of them all the time, but I think for any electric car to be truly mass market it needs to price similar to a Camry. If the Camry can be America’s number one sedan by sales, then probably trying to price as close you can to Camry would really make a mass market car.
