@Odin: Notice SynthOno didn't say "Invented". He said "Innovated". You're confusing the two. They didn't invent those things, but they innovated and brought them to the mass market making them standard.

@D0rk: I absolutely agree with you. I have a MBP 15incher and I love the battery life. I can work a full evening without charging (while running CPU/GPU intensive programs like Illustrator and Photoshop) and I also like that I can fully charge up an Apple product battery in an hour or two.

Even if this cannibalizes the iPad market, Apple will still make money. It does cost more, so I don't know if I see this happening. There is still a market for both and Apple knows how to create each product to fill a niche.
