He significantly cut down after him becoming a father. But yeah he did still drink. But many casual viewers or didn’t know him at all might not have known that. 

Yeah like suicide is something to be ashamed. I think most people are afraid of it. It scares us. But to me it is another chronic condition and unfortunately not one that he could ultimately compare.
