Absolutely. And I think that is why this has hit me so hard. I looked to Tony as a person that not only overcame his addiction but thrived.

It will be good for me too, I think. A reason to get out of the house and just the cuddles and love a dog can bring. We are in the super preliminary stages right now. We haven’t found the one and have just started looking. All we know is that we want a dog that is past the puppy stage.

Haha yes they can be sneaky! I did take care of my boyfriends dog for a year. It was a mini Aussie and already trained, but yeah, if I turned my back, she could snatch some food in an instant! My mom has said that it has to be a smaller dog, which my dad begrudgingly agreed with, but he’s come to terms with it.
