I used to work in an industry, where we had to know the specific dates on certain documents, and we also used the Julian dates. I’m not quite sure why, but it was a field that was heavily regulated by the state.

I don’t work there anymore. But better than another high end retailer I worked for where my coworker and friend reported groping and harassment and her hours got cut down so much that she ended up quitting. But I digress. :/
