@Arken: I am hoping that people are writing to congress, and marking down which ones say this is necessary - and then not voting for that idiot next time. Then again, President Obama has said these invasive searches were necessary, so we'll see.

I hit up every Marshalls & TJ Maxx in the Dallas/Ft Worth area the day I saw this, and nobody had any in stock. :(

We have a "fly in community*" in our fire district and we get called out for an average of two plane crashes a year. Always a homebuilt aircraft.

@bigwhitebear18: It's not a matter of "can't" - it's a matter of "won't" for the most part. Providers are too content to squeeze coins wherever they can. :/

@ddhboy: I'm hoping for more actual movies and not just more episodes of Blues Clues and Barney. :/

@IndianaPwns: "Oh no it doesn't run on a bunch of old phones that aren't being updated or supported anymore... Who cares! "

@hcho321: Have they released the data package prices yet?

With more and more US tech companies falling over themselves to show they're a "global company" by opening offices in China, we're just handing them the keys to the castle.

I don't want a web browser on my TV. I want AirVideo. :-(

This is why I've started showing up at the airport in a Speedo and a tank top while wearing flip flops.

@the real david: probably to drive DVD sales. and the studios wonder why people want to pirate stuff. :/

Am I the only one that thinks this whole setup looks overly confusing and doesn't make anything easier? It looks like a disjointed mess.

Hipster band does something hipster-y with hipsterphone.

@w1llk - Undoubtedly Cookies: Oh, absolutely. I was just reminded of the 50 cal ban in California. Feinstein was on stage claiming that terrorists could use one to shoot down aircraft and other ridiculous stuff. Never mind that the 50 cal rifle she was referring to was like $6,000...

@Arken: it's also giving me dramatically different results than the Ookla speedtest.net app is giving me. I'm seriously questioning the validity of the root metrics app's results, since it doesn't really show us much. It's showing me that I have slow data speeds, but the Ookla app easily gives me 3mbit down/1mbit up,

It's just like Apple stuff. It is not official until Steve Jobs holds it up and says it is so. Doesn't matter what Bloomberg or some financial analyst at Fortune thinks they heard from some "sources briefed on the matter" - it ain't so until Steve says it's so.

@Asraiil: Same here. It's bolted into the concrete foundation too, which is nice. Also a great place to hide christmas gifts from kids.

@w1llk - Undoubtedly Cookies: At $2,999 each, *clearly* these evil rifles are totally commonplace and everyone has them, right? ;)

@Mactacular: My biggest question - how does it handle huge ass HD rips in MKV?
