Not only budget cuts, but corporate overlords happily sending everything to India/China because that's what their other buzzword loving CEO friends are doing.

@FriedPeeps: Thank the RIAA for that. It's meant as an anti-piracy 'roadblock' despite the fact that there are plenty of third party tools for doing so. It's just that they're third party tools and not Apple tools...

What scares me is that there are *five* former RIAA lawyers high up in the DOJ.

@ignacio reyes: Mine sound OK, but if I move around any more than just wiggling in my chair, they fall out of my ears. A high wind gust will literally blow the earbud out of my ear. They're totally worthless for walking.

They failed to mention that they only polled 8 people, and one of them was Chad Ochocinco. And if they had asked my wife, the figures would be way off. We keep the AT&T plan with A-List because she talks to her mom & sister for 2,000 minutes a month alone.

I'd love to see a version of a show like this that played like a long contiguous film. Cut out the opening sequences and credits and let it play. I'd love to re-watch BSG that way. Pause it when I need to, etc.

Those are the happiest police officers I've seen in ages. heh.

@FriarNurgle: As an NRA member, I'd say "Hey, this is pretty cool!"

@thatdecade: It will do it if it's the only window open. There are many complaints about Safari on iPad - google "ipad safari reload" :(

@iAmWillJ: Foursquare/etc are totally worthless in rural areas. I tried Whirrl for a while and it looked like I only went 4 places. Almost everywhere I went it told me I was the first person to check in... and then the second. :/

@dfp3050: True. This annoys me. What annoys me more is that stupid auto-reload thing that Safari does. I hate opening something in a new window and going right back to the previous window only to have the whole thing reload on me. I've tried the "other browsers" but had rendering problems galore.

I wonder if any such numbers would be available on GV, Vonage, MagicJack/etc....

@Faslane: Sadly, they don't. The eBay 'community' answer to things is "oh just open another account." Being a long time user is meaningless nowadays. I've had my eBay account for over 10 years now. They don't give a shit. :/

@Faslane: To your credit, people have sent things via USPS with insurance and the recipient *still* files with PayPal and gets their cash back and the seller is still left holding the (empty) bag and has to deal with the claims. The scammy buyer and paypal make out like bandits.

Streaming internet radio has helped me find more new bands than anything. I got so tired of the constant onslaught of advertisements on "free" FM radio that I just gave up on it entirely. I started checking out streams that were right there in iTunes and listening to stuff that just wasn't being played in the US. Now

They had also driven to work in the SAME GOLD BUICK and cameras saw them all over the place.

This in spite of the fact that HP's investigation found that her claims were completely unfounded? Sounds like she's trying to deflect some of the heat...

Wow, all that for taking a piss in the woman's bathroom. When a girl goes into the guys bathroom, she usually gets right to the front of the line for the next stall. When a guy goes into the woman's bathroom, he gets arrested and clubbed like a baby seal. yikes.

@♫ Destronok ♫: I worked there around that time. It was a sad day indeed. The AOL-TW 'merger' was even worse.
