Tempting.. it's cheaper than the AT&T unlimited plan on my iPad. But setting up a wifi access point at work would get me in trouble. (They actively scan for unapproved access points)

@Squalor: with the Square app, you can punch the information in manually. no dongle required. :)

@Scott Edward Altorfer: Probably because the quality absolutely blows, and they have this on-off again relationship with Skype. I used Fring for quite a while and gave up on it.

I didn't shell out the $9.99 and probably won't. People are reporting that the catalog doesn't get any larger, which is very disappointing to me. I hate how copyright & royalties/etc can screw this stuff up. :/

@David Insley: I'd love to see more solar chargers for cell phones. Heck, I'd even wear a solar panel on a hat if I could charge my phone easier.

@protodad: Stockton/etc is pretty flat. Probably easier to roll out service there. Also, local restrictions on cell towers. Out in the farmland it's easier to obtain a small chunk of land to erect towers.

@TheAssociation: I think that OWC warranties the work and will provide support for it. Their support staff is usually pretty helpful. That might explain some of the cost.
