Hell I was like 7 and watched it with my dad.

Now playing

Thank you for what may be the best researched piece I’ve ever read on AV Club.

Plus, making Wanda the villain would lead to a really uncomfortable “Poor simple women, just can’t handle their emotions” vibe.

The laugh was the best part. Hahn clearly had a blast playing this character and relished the heel turn.

The one boy talking about how “it’s so loud” and “you’re quiet...” were genuinely eerie.

Oh God I never thought of that.

I love how this show plants its seeds so masterfully, I go diving back into Marvel comics lore to parse out what the hell is going on, and they prey on that with misdirection for those who know their House of M, etc. WandaVision has got me so delightfully into Pepe Silvia conspiracy mode that I don’t know how I lived

This was a genuinely a really funny episode, between the “Agatha All Along” number, the talking to the camera bits, and Darcy and Vision stealing the van and getting stuck on the road before Vision remembers that he can just fly.

The whole purpose of “Oh yeah, and I killed Sparky too!” was to ensure the audience knew she is 100% evil.

There’s only one person to sort this mess out.

In Ben Shapiro’s specific case, he’s Jewish, so decidedly not a Christian.

They don’t even understand what their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, was all about. Do we really not expect them to screw up interpreting Sci-Fi as well?

The legions of supposed fans who seem to have completely missed the moral lessons of properties like Star Wars, Star Trek, various comic book heroes... do we really need to implement a test before people are allowed to enjoy entertainment? How do you not fucking get Star Wars?

The final 10 episodes of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, which will surely include one Halloween Heist episode, one Pontiac Bandit episode, and one Adrian Pimento episode, is coming later this year (most likely).

Those are the same words I’d use. I’m especially sad we have to wait at least 7 or 8 more months. But it makes sense, because it was strange there was no mention of the show when NBC rolled out its mid-season schedule.

I did like some of B99's subtler jabs at policing in general, like how two of the candidates for NYPD commissioner were white guys named John Kelly.

It’s oddly refreshing to read about a show not being picked up based solely on business/creative reasons, not because somebody was a creep in his or her personal life. Go, Mike Judge, Go!

I recall the last few seasons having a few too many “Strawman Antagonist of the week introduces a cosmopolitan, big-city idea that creates problems only Hank can solve with Common Sense” episodes for my taste, but the character-focused episodes were still great (i.e., “Death Picks Cotton,” the episode where...well,

The series finale was kind of sweet, with Hank and Bobby finally bonding over something. Also you find out what Boomhauer does for a living finally.

I’d prefer they revive King of the Hill rather than Beavis & Butthead. Though I never saw the last season of KotH, so maybe it ended satisfactorily.
